Community standards
For chat at The Journey Church.
Chat is where the people of The Journey Church talk to each other. These are the rules for it. There is no tolerance for content or behaviour that breaks them.
- Be kindNo insults, harassment, threats, or bullying, including in jest.
- Keep it cleanNo sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, or language you would not use in the lobby on a Sunday.
- Protect each otherNever share somebody else's private details, and nothing about children beyond what their own parent posts.
- No sellingNo advertising, spam, fundraising for outside causes, or links posted to get clicks.
- Be yourselfPost as you. Do not pretend to be somebody else.
What happens if they are broken
Anybody can report a message or block the person who wrote it, from the message itself. A block works immediately. Church staff read every report, normally within a day, and can remove messages and remove somebody from chat or the app entirely.
